Solar
Base

Specialized in providing software & automation services to solar installers.

Forged by solar veterans who have done both jobs: built the software, and worked the ops it was built for.

I’m Nenad. I build the software that solar companies run their installs on.

I spent years inside residential solar operations, building the systems and then watching what happened to them afterwards. From running a company on spreadsheets, to paying a small fortune for a NetSuite implementation, I have seen most of what a solar company can end up running on. I know which parts hold up under real volume and which parts quietly come apart the month you double.

What I want is to build the best system in this industry. Not a decent one, the best one. Build that inside a single company and it stays locked in one building, used by a few dozen people, and that is a shame. Much of the work is the same everywhere and can be shared: the same stages, the same stalls, the same spreadsheet someone keeps on the side because the system won’t do the one thing they need. Software is one of the few kinds of work you can build once and give to everyone.

The idea of Solar Base is to scale that accumulated ops knowledge horizontally, so it reaches more than one company at a time.

I’m in solar because I want it everywhere. Energy that is quiet, clean, and available to anyone who wants it. I can’t install panels from here. What I can do is make the companies that do install them run better, be more organized and more efficient, so that they can get to more roofs.
